Han har også kommentert mitt forskningsprosjekt på en innsiktsfull måte:)
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Lise Hovik at the RiDE Symposium “Questions of Aesthetics and Participation” at Hull University. Lise has just completed her PhD in Norway looking at theatre for the very young. Her work includes a trilogy of participatory theatre / dance / art installation called “The Red Shoes Project”. Above is a link to the first in the series, “De Røde Skoene”.
The most exciting part of the project is the way the performance welcomes participation without coercing its audience. Babies feel a freedom to explore the space and the action rather than being accused of ‘stage invasion’; equally, they are perfectly welcome to sit and enjoy the audio-visual elements of the performance if they wish. This is both refreshing and remarkable.
